Fighting 69th Commemorative Coin
FIGHTING 69TH COMMEMORATIVE COIN - This unique commemorative coin specially designed by the Northwest Territorial Mint will only be available in very limited quantities. This 47mm (1.75") Bronze Coin features a relief of the Basilica of St. Patrick's Old Cathedral (elevated to Minor Basilica by Pope Benedict XVI on March 17, 2010) commemorating the 250th Annual New York City St. Patrick's Day Parade. The reverse features the logo of New York's famed Fighting 69th with its magnificent Irish Wolfhounds with the units motto "Gentle when Stroked, Fierce When Provoked". The Fighting 69th has continuously led the New York City St. Patrick's Day Parade since 1851.
